Hi, I’m Nick West, a self-employed electrician based in Leicester Forest East.

My journey into electrical work started when I went on work experience with my dad, who’s a carpenter. While helping out on site, I found myself drawn to the electricians  their work really sparked my interest (no pun intended!). That experience set me on the path to becoming an electrician, and I qualified at the age of 21 — nearly 20 years ago.

Since then, I’ve worked across domestic, commercial, and industrial projects as a subcontractor, gaining a wide range of experience in all aspects of electrical installation and maintenance.

Now, I’m excited to be taking the leap and running my own business. I take great pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and maintaining excellent standards on every job. I believe in being approachable, reliable, and ensuring that every customer is happy with both the end result and how the work is carried out.

Whether it’s a simple repair, a full rewire, or a custom electrical solution, my focus is always on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Outside of work, I’m a proud dad of two. I love spending time with my wife and children — from family days out to quiet evenings at home building dens, playing with Lego, or enjoying a good movie together.
